A native New Yorker, Tanya was born to perform. She's been singing in front of appreciative local and community audiences since the age of 5. To further develop and solidify her talent, throughout Junior High and High School, Tanya performed in various musicals including Roar of the Grease Paint, The Music Man and Fiddler On The Roof.

Tanya's vocal abilities span a variety of genres --Music Theater, R&B, Pop, Gospel, standards and Cabaret. Her talents also include writing, arranging and recording her own songs. In 1997, She entered the professional world of music with a bang as she performed in her first ever Cabaret show in New York City.
Though Tanya's past seven years have been primarily filled with raising her two beautiful daughters, She has  managed to continue to pursue her singing career. Her latest endeavors include being a solo artist for the Gospel group-God's Blessings, performing at opening ceremonies for various corporate events.
